Our Strengths
A strong Board of Directors (10 Chiefs), staff and Local Delivery Mechanism Managers are talented and committed. We know what needs to be done, we love what we do and we ensure that it is followed through. Over the years we have built good partnerships with employers and achieved good results with our clients. The partnerships with and between LDMA's are a source of strength that is part of the FNES uniqueness.
The Local Delivery Mechanism Management is team-oriented, open to innovation, flexibility and overall strong respect for each other. We are client driven and work for positive change for First Nations clients. Our strength includes our cultural values, elders, leadership and youth.
The Board is in support of the people and employees from the ground up. Our organization maintains its uniqueness-customized to our community to meet the needs of clients. FNES supports individual community organization development. Human resources are highly trained and valued as qualified First Nations people increase management and staff capabilities. FNES takes on interns, co-op students and technical trainers. FNES is fun, healthy and unstoppable.
Community input and consultation is at the heart of the grassroots decision-making. Measures of success are established for community, clients, FNES and staff. With a consistent evaluation of programs, FNES is able to “iron out the wrinkles with a cultural iron.”
FNES works at developing the partnership between Human Resources Canada and First Nations Agreement Holders ensuring that the interests of all parties are met under the Aboriginal Human Resources Development Agreement.
